At ReFilamer we are working on a machine that can produce eco-friendly filament (the raw material of 3D-printing) for 3D printers from household plastic waste (PET bottles, failed prints, etc.), all at home at an affordable price.
We are currently working on a prototype, but our ultimate goal is to create a compact machine that can grind, dry and melt the plastic, reshape it to filament, and then roll it up.
With our machine an average hobby 3D printer user in Hungary could save the price of a new iPhone every year, all while contributing to saving the planet.
Not only the users save the planet, but they can sell the produced filament. How? We are working on an online platform, where the users can find each other, sell their filaments, and trade their plastic waste to each other.
